What the fuck is up with all the 40 year old women into Twilight?

I mean, I can understand teenage girls being all retarded and whatnot, but there is something seriously wrong with a grown ass woman that doesn't realize that series is literary garbage.

Everywhere I go there are "team edward moms" or whatever. WTF? Seriously? If that's the kind of relationship you'd like for your daughters to get into.. what with it being manipulative, controlling and completely just..senseless... christ.

I have now gotten into an argument with several of my very close friends, a random librarian & even family members of friends who try to convince me that this series is like the greatest thing ever. And when I try to leave it at "I'm not a fan, sorry." It's like \"OMGWTFHOWCANYOUNOTLOVEEDWARDHEISSOOOODRE AMYANDSOMEDAYIWILLMARRYHIM\".

Honestly, I cannot think of a lower specimen at this point than a freaking twitard.

As you might have guessed, I think the whole series is completely overrated and ridiculous.
